I woke up on August 1st hit with a wave of thoughts, some overwhelming, some surprisingly underwhelming. It was my birthday! Another year around the sun and another opportunity to reflect on this complex, beautiful journey.
As women, we are constantly bombarded with the message that aging is something to resist. We are sold creams, serums, and stories implying our value diminishes with every single candle on the cake.
Well, as your esthetician and wardrobe stylist, I’m calling a quiet bluff on all of that. At 41, my story is just starting to get good.
Redefining What It Means to Age with Grace
When people talk about “aging with grace,” they usually mean trying to look a decade younger than they are. To me, graceful aging means something entirely different. It means stepping up and owning your history. It means honoring every line that proves you have laughed, cried, and survived, and every silver hair that shows you’ve gained real wisdom.
Grace isn’t just an aesthetic; it’s an internal energy. It’s the peace that comes when you stop seeking outside validation. It’s that powerful shift from asking “Do you like me?” to declaring “I like me.” For me, the true privilege of growing older is having the clarity and power to reshape your life in the areas that actually matter.
UnCovering My Own Vulnerabilities

I always promise absolute transparency in this space, so here is a truth for you: even as someone who helps other women build confidence for a living, I am not immune to my own self doubt.
This summer, I’ve been doing some deep, sometimes uncomfortable work with my own mentor. Being in the business of personal styling and skincare means I have to embody what I teach, not just preach it.
I’ve had to lean in and address my own confidence hurdles. I had to ask myself hard questions about why I was holding back in certain areas of my life and business. Working with a mentor gave me a safe, structured space to process that vulnerability. It was a grounding reminder that no matter how far we come, we all need a guide, someone to hold up a mirror when our own sight gets foggy.
I share this because the journey to UnCovering your beauty isn’t a final destination. It is a continuous practice, and there is always a fresh season waiting for you to step into.
Taking My Own Advice
When I tell a client to invest in a powerful wardrobe that bridges how she looks with how she wants to feel, I need to make sure I’m doing the exact same for myself. When I create a sanctuary for a client to feel seen, valued, and confident, I cannot neglect my own vision.
The strategy and support I offer work because they are rooted in reality. This summer, I recommitted to fully applying those tools to my own life. Because if I don’t actively believe in the power of my own guidance, how can I ask you to trust me with your transformation?

A Birthday Prayer for the Year Ahead
My prayer for this next year is that we all stop waiting until we feel “perfect” to start living boldly. My wish is that we fully embrace the age we are right now as the absolute best time to show up.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. This year, we aren’t running from aging. We are stepping into it with style, strategy, and an undeniable presence.
Reclaiming Your Sexy (Without the Fear)
While working through my own confidence with my mentor this summer, one big theme kept resurfacing: how often women, especially as we age, become afraid to feel sexy.
Somewhere along the way, we are conditioned to tone it down. We worry about being “too much,” looking like we’re trying too hard, or stepping outside the comfortable boxes society and sometimes we ourselves built for us. Or we end up at the opposite end where we look like we’re trying too hard to be young and can’t let go of the “good old days.” But feeling sexy isn’t about dressing for the male gaze or trying to match an unrealistic standard. It’s about feeling vibrant, desirable, and deeply at home in your own skin. It’s an undeniable part of stepping into your full power.
If you’ve felt that quiet fear of stepping back into your sensuality, know that you don’t have to navigate it alone. My Confident Wife Session was designed specifically to give you the safe, empowering space to reclaim that exact energy, redefine your personal allure, and feel fully confident in your dynamic skin again.
